In November 2025, Typhoon Tino (international name: Kalmaegi) tore through the Visayas region, leaving a trail of devastation across riverside communities in Cebu, Philippines. Torrential rains battered northern and central Cebu, triggering catastrophic flash floods that swelled rivers and overwhelmed the streets and neighborhoods of Danao, Cebu City, Mandaue, and Talisay, as well as the towns of Liloan, Compostela, and Consolacion.

In the aftermath, we traveled to Danao to reach seven barangays that had received little to no outside assistance — bringing grocery bags and rice to 300 families still struggling to recover. We are deeply honored to have had this opportunity to serve, and profoundly moved by the dedication of New Life Danao church, whose team pressed forward to reach their community even after their own church was submerged under five feet of floodwater and mud, with members taking refuge on the roof.

None of this would have been possible without the generous support of Art Lounge Manila, Galerie Francesca, and the talented artists who participated in *Alab ng Puso* — most especially Mr. Roel Obemio. Your generosity turned art into action, and hope into help.
