Baybay Boat Project

What began as a vision in early 2024 became a life-changing reality for three Filipino fishing families. The Bynum Faith Foundation, in partnership with New Life Tacloban, launched a grassroots initiative to provide pump boats to deserving fishermen in a local fishing community in Baybay, Leyte.

After raising funds with tremendous support from Minnesota’s Filipino community in December 2024, the project came to fruition on June 28, 2025, when three fishermen received their own boats. The overwhelming joy and tears of gratitude from the families marked not just the delivery of equipment, but the beginning of transformed livelihoods and renewed hope for generations to come.
